About this game

You've been laid off, and HR says there's one opening left — on the top floor. Punch Clock is a browser boxing game set inside a satirical office tower, where you fight your way up six floors of colleagues, from Kyle the unpaid intern all the way to the CEO's chair.

Fights are all about reading. Every punch has a tell: the glove glows before it swings. Dodge away from it, duck the hooks, and time your dodge late for a PERFECT. After a miss, a perfect dodge or a cocky taunt, your opponent is open — punish them. Fill the Overtime meter with counters and perfect dodges to unleash a Haymaker, and remember the final K.O. must come from a counter, a punish or a haymaker.

Beyond the story mode there's a new Daily Shift every day with its own company policy and perks, plus 1:1 online matches where you can book a meeting room and settle things with a friend. Shift reports and share cards let you brag about your promotion — or your shame.

How to play

• Left jab: J, Z or left click (tap left on mobile)
